Indian railways has introduced a mobile reservation app IRCTC Mobile which allows you to book Indian railway reservation tickets directly from your mobile phone.
The app has been launched by IRCTC in association with leading mobile commerce platforms like NGPAY, PAYMATE and ATOM. You can download the IRCTCMobile app from IRCTC website. When you go to the IRCTC website scroll down to the bottom of the IRCTC website. You will find a section named “Mobile Zone” on the website.
Clicking on “Mobile Zone” tab will open a drop down with links to download IRCTCMobile app. Click on any one of the three (i.e. either NGPAY, PAYMATE or ATOM) and a new window or tab will open. Just enter your mobile number on the opened window and click to get download link in your mobile via SMS to download IRCTCMobile on your mobile.
Download it and you can book online Indian railway reservation tickets through your mobile using this app. You need to be a registered user of IRCTC to use the service.
